OVERVIEW
Written and Directed by award-winning filmmaker Harrison Davis, Disconnected centers on two teenage stepsisters who venture into a cemetery after their disapproving parents lock them out of their house and unknowingly embark on an existential journey - all without their cell phones. Taking inspiration from the French New Wave and films like American Beauty, Davis uses unique camerawork and editing to achieve a slick but choppy look at the teenage subconscious.
